Vocational Qualification Banners

Wakefield College needed some large banners for their upcoming open evenings to advertise the advantages of vocational qualifications through case studies.

I decided to go for an approach which would have an immediate impact on those present at the event, looking to contrast a dark background with bright, ‘in-your-face’ colours.

Think Outside The Box

Wakefield College needed a double page centre spread to advertise their new skillsXchange campus. I was asked to conceptualise and design the advert.

I focused on the iconic architecture of the campus, and related this to the opportunities at the college – hence using the phrase ‘Think Outside The Box’.

Beatsystem – 2297

This college project involved a full development process to create CD artwork for Beatsystem’s ’2297′ album. The concept itself came to me whilst listening to the music and represents the emotions I felt whilst listening – frustration, confusion, at some point just blankness. The first aspect was the outer casing of the Digipak case.

Along with the outer casing, an inner for the Digipak was required. This required a lot of text, and as such led to a more restrained approach to the design, without sacrificing the theme of the casing.

Along with the casing, a CD body design was required. The brief meant that the colours on the CD were limited in order to control printing costs – meaning it was more difficult to continue the theme from the other parts of the CD artwork.

Finally, an advert was requested in order to inform potential buyers of the re-release of the album.

Services to Business – Preview Event Banners

Services to Business at Wakefield College focus on the needs of companies, providing training and staff development across West Yorkshire. They requested a number of banner stands be made for their Business Preview event in March 2009.

More! Productions Marketing

In addition to the More! Productions website, I was asked to complete a few items of marketing material. This included new business cards with both companies on, new Even More! Productions letterheads, and an e-flyer for Even More! Productions that can be emailed out.

I also built a HTML email to give a professional look to any emails the two companies send out.
